We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Taylor lab is moving!  We are now located at Case Western Reserve University. Updated web details to come soon!

We are glad that you find what you see so interesting that you want to be a part of it!  Please fill out the form below so we can get to know a little more about you! Please note that due to our move, we cannot accept high school students at this time (I’m sorry!!!!!).  However, you should check out some of my colleagues and friends in UNC’s biology department – they have awesome stuff going on too!

Position Interest Form

Form to allow individuals to express interest in working for or with the lab

  • Please provide a good email address for me to reach you. Make sure this is one that you check so we don't miss each other!
  • What is your current institution, or affiliation? For example, Dr. Taylor's answer to this would be "The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill"
  • What is the highest degree you have attained, and in what area? Dr. Taylor's answer to this would be "Doctor of Philosophy: Mechanical Engineering".
  • Where did you attain your highest degree? Dr. Taylor's answer to this would be "Case Western Reserve University".
What position(s) are you interested in within the lab?
  • Tell me a little about yourself! This includes, but is not limited to, things like 1) your academic/professional background, 2) your research interests, 3) current professional goals (e.g., I hope to be a professor/I want to work in industry/I want to work for the government), 4) what you are hoping to get out of working in the lab (e.g., degree sought, skill sets you are hoping to attain). Feel free to tell me some of your hobbies/extracurricular activities too. For example, in addition to being a researcher, Dr. Taylor is a trumpet player and composer/arranger. He even has his own album!
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
